How does the Abalam Tablet work?

Abalam Tablet is a combination of two antiretrovirals, Abacavir and Lamivudine. Abacavir is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (RTI) that prevents viral replication. Lamivudine is also an HIV reverse transcriptase inhibitor that works to stop DNA synthesis and terminate DNA growth.

Both of the ingredients together work to reduce the viral load in the body, ensuring that the patient enjoys a long and healthy life.

Once you have taken antiretroviral therapy and your viral load is undetectable then you cannot pass on HIV to another person in any way.
