Altraz Tablet is a medication used for treating breast cancer in combination with other medications. It contains Anastrozole - an aromatase inhibitor- as its active component.

Uses

Altraz Tablet is used to treat advanced breast cancer in women. It is specifically used to treat postmenopausal women who are affected by localized estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer.

How does the Altraz Tablet work?

The Anastrozole contained in Altraz Tablet binds selectively to the aromatase enzyme and thus blocks the conversion of androgens to estrogen. This lowers the estrogen levels in the body.

Estrogen is a necessary hormone for breast cancer cells to grow, lowering the estrogen levels thus reduce the growth and spread of breast cancer.
