Lymfuda 10 is an anticancer drug developed and marketed by Natco. It contains Fludarabine which is a Purine nucleoside Analog that inhibits DNA synthesis, thus reducing the growth and spread of cancers.

 

Uses

Lymfuda 10 is used primarily in the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. It may also be used in combination with other medications such as cyclophosphamide, mitoxantrone, dexamethasone, and rituximab in chemotherapy to treat other lymphomas.

 

How Lymfuda 10 works?

The Fludarabine in the tablet interferes with RNA and DNA of the cancer cells in the blood cells. This prevents the cancer cells from spreading and growing further. 

 

Side Effects

Commonly reported side effects of Lymfuda 10 include,

  • Decreased Red blood cells, or platelet counts

It is generally considered unsafe to drive or operate heavy machinery while taking Lymfuda 10, as it hinders your ability to drive. People have reported giddiness, weakness, or other issues that interfere with their ability to drive.

 

Dosage

Your doctor should prescribe you the dosage based on the severity of your condition, and other factors.

Take the same dose at roughly the same time each day. Do not try to modify the dose on your own. If you fail to take a dose, take it as soon as possible and never double a dose to make it up. 

The tablet must not be chewed or crushed, rather swallow it whole. It can be taken with food or without food.
